The two young women look at each other and smile. One of them says, “Oh, we aren't worried about them.” The other one adds, “We've been reading your blog and practicing what we’re going to say to them! They won’t bother us at all.”

Wow. I think you guys just won something akin to an escort Oscar right there! That's amazing and so awesome! You empowered them. It's hard to feel empowered when you're energy-sapped and stressed to the hilt and wondering what the hell to do when your life gets blown apart by an unexpected, unwanted pregnancy, or a pregnancy you wanted that has become non-viable.

That's an incredible feat.

And to offer an unsolicited opinion, I know you guys feel your stories look really repetitive here because they run along the same themes...but from this side of things, they really aren't. I know I always find some new point to consider in each post. Plus it's hard to go back through ALL the archives now that you're such a big blog. So we're probably missing some things here and there.

If you feel tired of writing it all out, I totally accept and understand that. It's like, "How do I find new words for this old topic?" I guess I have nothing for that part...but at least I don't think you have to worry about your readers getting bored.

Way to go, Not-Frances, Serval Bear, and all the rest of you for making a difference. :)

I'm going to be a bit delayed with giving my donation, but I'm adding a few bucks in honor of the antis I counted in front of my local clinic last Saturday- only five, but that's still five too many. They were all very small old people with grey hair, and my husband said they looked like garden gnomes. So now whenever I see them out there I think of them as garden gnomes and it makes me laugh at them rather than making me angry.

I'm so glad (well, sort of) that you've been mentioned *elsewhere* on the interwebs and that I followed the link. It's heartening to read about the rational side of this thing and to know that escorts are making a real difference.

Speaking of the little kids as props, I always cringe when I hear some anti saying "even little ones know it's wrong to kill babies!" Ah, no, the don't "know" anything unless that's what you tell them. What's next, a fun field trip to the morgue to see what happens when you don't wear a seat belt? Sheesh, what a ridiculous circus.
